The simply-written text and clear step-by-step photographs will help youngsters achieve results that will delight them. In “Fancy Dressing” there are lots of clever ideas for kids to use in transforming themselves into all sorts of wonderful creations. Whether children will be making the projects in this book for their dressing-up box (a container of old clothes they’ve collected for dressing up in) or to create a special costume for a fancy dress party, a few tools will be needed: scissors or pinking shears for cutting; a pair of compasses for making circles; an awl and a hole punch to make holes; glue, tape and staples to put things together; and a needle and thread ready for sewing. Paint, felt-tip pens and fabric crayons will all come in handy for decorating.
